In the field of Global Mental Health, I have conducted a meta-analysis on the relationship between antidepressant treatment effects and the economic or infrastructural situation of trial countries.

I have been the coordinator of the international RE-DEFINE project in Germany, where we evaluated the mindfulness intervention "Self-Help Plus" with a sample of refugees and asylum seekers in cooperation with the WHO.

At the moment, I am part of the WELLPAK project that adapts and evaluates the WHO-developed mindfulness intervention "Problem-Management Plus" to support lay health workers in a rural setting in Islamabad, Pakistan.
