Meet our speakers:
Suchita Agrawal
Psychiatrist in psychosexual medicine
Suchita Agrawa is a psychiatrist in Pune, India. Her expertise is in psychosexual medicine,
particularly paraphilic disorders.
She is working as a consultant with Don't Offend India, which is an Indo-German collaboration for
treatment of
pedohebephilic disorder and prevention of child sexual abuse (CSA). The organization is primarily
active in Mumbai and
Pune. Recently, she has proposed starting remote and anonymous treatment services for
pedohebephilia, to cover a
larger geographic area. She also has a thriving private practice where she primarily treats young
adults and
adolescents, providing psychiatric treatment using a holistic approach. She is also working with
hospitals providing
consultation-liaison services and outpatient services at King Edward Memorial Hospital, Pune. Her
areas of interest
are psychosexual medicine, addictions, and emotional and sexuality education.
Jana Alagarajah
Global digital mental health specialist
Jana Alagarajah is a digital global mental health specialist with a background as a UK-trained
public health
physician and psychiatrist,focusing on digital mental health implementation, policy, and academic
evaluation.
Currently, he is the Director of the InnovationLab at StrongMinds and Clinical AI Implementation
Lead at Audere.
Jana is based in Kigali, Rwanda, leading the co-design, implementation, and evaluation of digital
mental health
solutions for youth in lowand middle-income countries (LMICs). He is a policy advisor to
organisations such as
the
Wellcome Trust, MHRA, MSF, King’s Fund, McKinsey Health Institute, and UNICEF on global digital
mental health
policy, and contributed to the ratification of Africa’s first digital health regulation in
partnership with the
Africa Healthtech Hub. Academically, he also leads evaluations of digital mental health
interventions through
the
London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (LSHTM).
Christoph Benn
Director for Global Health Diplomacy
Christoph Benn is Director for Global Health Diplomacy at the Joep Lange Institute in Geneva. A
physician and public health specialist with more than 30 years of experience, he has practiced in
the United Kingdom, Germany, and Tanzania and advised health programs across Africa, Asia, and
Eastern Europe. He was a founding board member of the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and
Malaria in 2002 and served as its Director of External Relations from 2003 to 2018. At the Joep
Lange Institute, he focuses on accelerating universal health coverage in low- and middle-income
countries through innovations in digital health and international health financing, and promotes
Global Public Investment as a new model for sustainable development.
Sophie Delaigue
Doctor specialising in public and digital health
Sophie Delaigue is a doctor specialising in public and digital health. Since 2015, she has
contributed to Médecins Sans Frontières’ (MSF) telemedicine programme, allocating clinical cases and
advising on its development. She holds a Master's degree in Public Health and Development from the
University of Aix-Marseille, and has collaborated with the Pan American Health Organization/World
Health Organization (PAHO/WHO) in Haiti, as well as with the World Bank, during the COVD-19
pandemic. She now works at the Geneva Digital Health Hub (gdhub) at the University of Geneva, a
global platform built on two decades of telemedicine experience in Africa. In this role, she
supports the generation of evidence for digital health, the development of learning tools and the
management of communities of practice.
Kirsten Kappert-Gonther
Member of the German Bundestag
Kirsten Kappert-Gonther is a Member of the German Bundestag for Bündnis 90/Die Grünen, where she
serves as her parliamentary group’s lead representative (Obfrau) in the Health Committee. Within her
group, she is spokesperson for mental health, global health, women’s health, and bioethics. From
January 2022 to March 2025, she also served as chair of the Health Committee.
A physician and specialist in psychiatry and psychotherapy, she studied medicine in Marburg,
completed her doctorate in 1994, and has practiced as a psychiatrist since then. She co-directed a
rehabilitation facility for people with mental illness, later established a psychiatric outpatient
clinic, and ran her own psychotherapy practice. From 2011 to 2017, she was a member of the Bremen
City Parliament before being elected to the Bundestag in 2017 and re-elected in 2021.
Leonie Kienzle
Global Health Hub Germany
Leonie Kienzle works at the secretariat of the Global Health Hub Germany, where she is responsible
for the Hub Communities. She also serves as an Advisor for Global Health at the Deutsche
Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) in Berlin. She has been with GIZ since 2017,
contributing to health-related projects in Germany, Ghana, and Cambodia. Trained as a psychologist,
she holds both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Psychology from the University of Konstanz.
Alongside her professional career, she has also worked as a trainer and moderator on resilience,
team development, and communication.
Joanne Lee
Consultant & visiting lecturer mental health
Joanne Lee brings 28 years of experience in mental health, including 16 years in technical
leadership and management roles developing mental health, psychosocial support, and disability
programmes in the UK and internationally. She has worked across high-income, development, and
humanitarian contexts, leading initiatives for diverse populations across the life course. From 2021
to 2025, she served as Mental Health and Psychosocial Support Specialist and Programmes Lead with
UNICEF in Nairobi, where she guided the development of an MHPSS chatbot for young people, among
other projects. She has also worked as a global mental health consultant and visiting lecturer at
the University of Chester. Joanne holds an MSc in Global Mental Health from the University of
Glasgow and currently serves as a Board Trustee at Restore (Rehabilitation Services Trust For
Oxfordshire Re-Employment).
Alejandro Unger
Head of Engineering at Selfapy
Alex Unger has a background in engineering, information security, and regulatory compliance, with
more than a decade of experience building secure, scalable systems. Since 2022, he has served as
Head of Engineering at Selfapy, a Berlin-based digital health company that provides
health-insurance-covered online therapy courses for mental health disorders such as depression,
anxiety, and eating disorders. At Selfapy, he implemented information security management systems
and led cross-functional engineering teams in product innovation. Previously, he contributed to
open-source development at ownCloud and held engineering roles at Talon.One and other tech
companies. He studied Computer Engineering at the Universidad de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and is
also an active member of 2hearts, a community empowering diverse talent in Europe’s tech ecosystem.

Each day includes a panel discussion with renowned speakers followed by interactive small-group work on practical challenges.
